David Dodson is bringing his wide‑ranging American songbook to Watts Hall. A gifted songwriter whose work spans folk, rock, blues, jazz, and country, David moves effortlessly from poignant ballads to laugh‑out‑loud storytelling. He plays a mean guitar, sings with warmth and agility, and has the kind of rhythm that keeps a room leaning in. A New Folk winner at the Kerrville Folk Festival, he has shared the stage with artists such as K D Lang, Bill Staines, Ramblin’ Jack Elliott, Gordon Bok, and Chicago.
